My dear friend Francesca called the other day, she and I have been trying to hook up for months, maybe even a year, to get some shots done for her book. On Sunday, she hosted an open house for the Women’s Club of Stuart (Florida) and thought it would be a perfect time to shoot. I had only an hour, so I opted to shoot with the HDR style in mind, making the photos sing in post instead of lighting the room to make them perfect in camera.
Lighting a room would have taken hours, and there just wasn’t that kind of time.
Overall, I am pretty happy, I’m still old school in thinking, where the image should be perfect in camera, but nailing these six in less than an hour meant that the photo gods were with me!!
